Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Department has broken ground on a new fire station
to replace the current station 21
which was the first station built by the department over 20 years ago. The
department has out grown the current facility which has been modified and
expanded several times during its lifetime. The new station will be located at
14415 N. Eldridge Pkwy adjacent to the gas station. The new facility is
designed to blend in well architecturally with the surrounding neighborhood and
will feature 5 apparatus bays and a living quarters/day room area. Construction
has begun and we hope to be able to occupy the new station in July/August 2004.
