A 2002 Pierce heavy rescue with a 7-man Enforcer cab, 400
HP Cummins ISL diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission. It carries a complete
set of Homlatro Rescue Tools including spreaders, cutters and three different sized rams. The
onboard Homlatro electrial hydraulic power plant supplies two 100 ft. long hydraulic
reels. The cutters and spreaders are preattached to the 100 ft. hydraulic lines for rapid
deployment. There is also a gasoline powered portable hydraulic power supply and portable
reels used when the 100 ft. lines do not reach or when is its necessary to operate more than
two tools at a time. Additional rescue equipment includes complete sets of high and low-pressure air bags,
a large assortment of hand and power tools, cribbing, ventilation equipment, stokes basket,
and thermal imager. The truck is equipped with a 15 ft. 9000 watt light tower which can light both
sides of the truck simultaneously. A six bottle, 6000 psi., cascade system, 21 extra 30-minute
SCBA bottles and four one-hour SCBA bottles make up the on scene SCBA air supply capability.
All CCVFD SCBA are equipped with the Scott Quick-Fill system to allow rapid filling when
necessary. There is a 100 ft air hose reel for supplying remote air from the cascade when
required. A 25 KW PTO driven generator supplies 110/220V electrical power to the truck systems.
There is a 200 ft. electrical cord reel on each side of the truck. Four large coffin
compartments on top of the truck for bulk storage are easily accessible via a set of stairs
that stow between the coffin apartments.
