E26 is a 2003 Pierce Enforcer with an 8 man cab, 400 HP Cummins ISL diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission with integral vehicle retarder. E26 also features TAK-4 fully independent front suspension, which is a Pierce exclusive item. The TAK-4 independent front suspension delivers greatly improved ride and handling and also includes massive 17" diameter front disk brake rotors for improved stopping power. All DOT and emergency warning lighting is LED type. The pump is a Hale QMAX 1500 GPM model with actuated main intake valves located behind the pump panel. The truck carries 1000 gallons of water and 40 gallons each of Class A and Class B AFFF-AR foam in a poly tank. A Foam-Pro 2002 dual agent foam system and Pierce Hercules CAFS supply foam is pre-connected to 6 discharges. Akron Saber-jet nozzles with 1" inserts are used on the CAFS lines. There are a total of 7 preconnected attack lines and a booster reel. All attack lines are color coded to match the colors on the pump panel for ease of operation. A Harrison 10KW PTO hydraulic generator supplies power to two 200' electrical cord reels. Scene lighting is provided by a Will-Burt 3KW light tower located on top of the cab as well as Focus 500W fixed lights located on all 4 sides of the apparatus. 1200 feet of 5" and 400 feet of 3" supply line are carried.
